Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, writers of Lost, have created a modern take on fairy tales with a female lead character, Emma swan, who has moved to Storybrooke, Maine. The show revolves around the adaptation of fairytale characters such as Snow White and Prince Charming who have been brought into the real world with no knowledge of their true identities, due to the Evil Queen, who cast an evil spell on the entire land. Be prepared to view the fairy tales you know and love so well in an entirely different light. Once Upon a story revolves around the story of Snow white, but it is cast in a world where all the characters of every tall tale you've ever heard co exist and even interact with each other. Could you imagine Little Red Riding Hood as the best friend of Snow White? Does it sound like something out of Shrek?
Well Once Upon A Time is just as good as Shrek- maybe a tad bit better!
